Simon Silverio RMT
Simon Silverio is a fitness enthusiast whose passion for wellness knows no bounds.
A graduate of Niagara College with dual distinctions from the Massage Therapy and Physiotherapy Assistant programs, his journey in the realm of wellness began early, fueled by a love for movement and the human body. Simon’s commitment to holistic health also led him to pursue additional certification as a Personal Trainer through the ISSA.
Simon’s love for sports runs deep. A soccer player himself, he honed his skills on the field for years, even earning a trial with Portugal’s second-division team, Chaves, at 16. His dedication and talent continued to shine as he claimed the title of Rookie of the Year as a member of Niagara College’s Mens Varsity Soccer team.
Beyond athletics, Simon finds solace in savouring life’s simple pleasures, with a particular fondness for ribs and a perfectly cooked steak. If he’s not kneading away tension for our clients, he enthusiastically cheers on his favourite soccer teams, Benfica, Chelsea, and AC Milan.

Sophie Szczesniak
(She/Her/Hers)
MScPT, BA
Sophie isn’t your typical physiotherapist - she’s in a league of her own.
Originally from Kingston, ON, Sophie graduated from Bishop’s University in 2015 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance. After working in the Kingston arts community for several years, she noticed rehabilitation specialists severely underserved injury prevention and treatment for artists and musicians. This knowledge enabled her to pivot her career trajectory and complete her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2020.
Sophie is passionate about her role as a facilitator and helping people return to doing what they love. She prioritizes self-efficacy, health literacy, and a collaborative, evidence-based approach. Setting individualized movement and exercise goals to facilitate sustainable change is vital in her practice. She also uses pain education, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities to assist in alleviating pain and building resilience in the face of persistent discomfort.
Sophie is rostered in pelvic floor physiotherapy and is a certified 200-hour yoga and mindfulness teacher. She has completed numerous continuing education courses, including:

Julia Glaves MScPT, BKin (Hons)
Born and raised in Niagara, Julia is passionate about helping people move, feel, and perform their best. She completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) at McMaster University and subsequently earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto.
Throughout her education, Julia gained valuable experience across a variety of clinical settings, including orthopaedic physiotherapy, paediatrics, neurological and geriatric rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and acute care. She takes a collaborative, evidence-based approach, creating individualized treatment plans that empower clients to reach their goals and return to the activities they love.
A lifelong athlete, Julia grew up playing competitive hockey in St. Catharines, where she developed a deep appreciation for the connection between movement, performance, and recovery. She has a growing passion for running and enjoys helping others stay active and injury-free so they can continue doing what they love most.

Sierra Naccarato RMT
Sierra is a Niagara College Massage Therapy graduate, proudly wielding her registration under the CMTO.
Sierra’s fascination with rehabilitation is deeply rooted in her sporting past. A fierce competitor, she navigated the highs and lows of competitive soccer, forging through personal injuries and witnessing her teammates endure their setbacks. Learning more about the rehab side of sports ultimately led her to massage therapy.
Sierra played for the Niagara College Varsity Women’s Soccer team for four years and holds the best goals-against record in NC history as the team’s goalkeeper. She solidified her legacy with a coveted Provincial bronze medal in her senior season.
Her interests extend beyond the field; Sierra loves to hit the gym, strength train, and travel. Most recently, she visited the beautiful streets of Italy and basked in the beauty of Greece. She also loves a good country concert - if there’s a twang in the music, she’s there!

Alida Bonomo
Alida is a passionate physiotherapist with a strong background in sports and high-performance athletics. She earned her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Brunel University in London, UK, after completing an Honours Specialization in Kinesiology at Western University, where she graduated on the Dean’s Honour List.
Her love for the field began long before university as a competitive gymnast. For 12 years she trained to Level 10 and represented Team Ontario, giving her deep insight into the physical and mental demands of elite sport. She remains actively involved in gymnastics through coaching.
With clinical experience across Ontario and the UK, Alida has worked in sports musculoskeletal rehabilitation, private practice, neurology, pediatrics, and acute care. She is skilled in manual therapy, exercise prescription, gait retraining, functional movement analysis, and various therapeutic modalities including BFR, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound. Her advanced training includes Concussion Management (Université Laval) and Athletic Taping.
Alida has supported athletes in hockey, rugby, gymnastics, and varsity sports in both clinic and sideline settings, including a placement at Isokinetic London (FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence) and as an athletic trainer with the Burlington Eagles Hockey Club.
Alida combines hands-on manual therapy, targeted rehabilitation, and collaborative goal-setting to help her patients move confidently and return to the activities they love. Shannon graduated with honours from Centennial College and has been a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist for 17 years.
With extensive experience treating a wide range of injuries and conditions, she is known for her expertise in deep-tissue massage. Shannon tailors each session to meet her client’s needs, whether they seek therapeutic, sports, or prenatal massage. She ensures every treatment is effective and meets her clients’ comfort levels while remaining attuned to their unique requirements and overall treatment plans.
Outside the clinic, Shannon leads an active and fulfilling life as a lifelong equestrian, an avid hiker, and a proud mom of two energetic daughters. Her firsthand understanding of the challenges of maintaining balance in a busy life enriches her approach to care.

Priyanka Joshi
Priyanka is a dynamic and compassionate physiotherapist with a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Administration from Sault College. She blends strong clinical skills with a sharp eye for healthcare leadership.
Her journey began in India, where she led a team of six physiotherapists and provided on-field care to pro athletes from Pune City Football Club. While working as a physiotherapist in Mumbai, she also worked closely with clients recovering from CrossFit and lifting-related injuries, developing a strong interest in strength-based rehab and injury prevention.
Priyanka later transitioned into leadership roles at clinics across the GTA, serving as a senior physiotherapist and clinical manager. Whether helping marathon runners recover, streamlining clinic operations, or organizing community wellness events, she brings five years of hands-on experience, a love of sports rehab, and a passion for helping people get back to what they love.

Effective April 2026, Trevor will temporarily pause accepting new clients for general physiotherapy. He will continue to support his current client base, as well as returning clients who have previously received care with him at Great North Physiotherapy.
Trevor will also continue accepting new clients requiring specialty care, including sports physiotherapy, vestibular rehab, concussion management, IMS/dry needling, and custom bracing.
Our team is stacked with talented physiotherapists, each ready to deliver the same high-level care, bringing unique strengths and treatment approaches to help you reach your rehab goals.

Known to many as “The Punisher,” Trevor brings a high-performance, no-fluff approach to physiotherapy. He holds a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, a Master of Clinical Science in Sports and Exercise Medicine from Western University, and a Bachelor of Health and Physical Education from University of Toronto.
With advanced training in concussion care, dry needling, and movement-based rehab, Trevor is a Diploma holder with Sport Physiotherapy Canada and one of a small group in Canada with the Registered International Sports Physical Therapist (RISPT) designation.
He has worked with elite athletes and teams including the Niagara River Lions, Welland Jackfish, and Fort Erie Meteors, and has supported national and international events such as the Pan American Games and Canada Summer Games.
Trevor also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University, mentoring the next generation of clinicians, and was recognized as one of Niagara’s 40 Under 40 in 2020.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find him running, coaching, yelling at the Leafs on TV, or holding down the chaos of life with four kids and a strong BBQ game.
