Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy promotes, restores, and maintains physical function and mobility. It involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating various conditions affecting the musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular systems. Your treatment plan may include joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, manual stretching, dry needling, massage, hot and cold therapy, and exercise prescriptions.

Sports Physiotherapy

Sports physiotherapists are certified by Sport Physiotherapy Canada (SPC) and specialize in sports medicine and injury management, athletic taping, protective equipment, emergency care, concussion management and exercise prescriptions. Sports physiotherapy is vital for assessing an athlete's readiness to safely return to their sport, monitoring progress, and minimizing the risk of reinjury.

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

The pelvic floor, a crucial support structure for internal organs, influences core stability, bladder control, and reproductive health. Pelvic floor physiotherapy assesses and treats dysfunction through muscle training and manual therapy. From addressing incontinence to pelvic pain, this therapy provides a supportive space for tailored solutions to various pelvic health concerns.

Virtual Care Physiotherapy

Virtual Physiotherapy (also called online physio or telehealth physiotherapy) delivers exceptional care remotely to restore mobility and function. Through secure video sessions, our physiotherapists can assess and treat muscle, joint, and nerve conditions using guided exercises, education, and self-treatment techniques—all from the comfort of your home.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy promotes relaxation, reduces muscle tension, alleviates stress, enhances circulation, improves joint flexibility, aids pain management and injury recovery, and fosters a balanced mind-body connection.

*If this is your first visit to GNP, please book a 45- or 60-minute massage, as your therapist will perform a brief initial assessment. Massage prices are subject to HST.

Prenatal Massage

A prenatal massage is a gentle, tailored therapy that alleviates pregnancy-related discomforts like back pain, swelling, and tension. It promotes improved circulation and supports well-being for both parent and baby.

*If this is your first visit to GNP, please book a 45- or 60-minute massage, as your therapist will perform a brief initial assessment. Massage prices are subject to HST.

Concussion Management

Concussions are traumatic brain injuries resulting from head impacts or forceful movements that present symptoms like headaches, nausea, and concentration issues. Management plans are determined in accordance with the Shift Concussion protocols to address these symptoms and aid recovery.

Vestibular (Vertigo) Rehabilitation

Vestibular rehabilitation reduces vertigo, dizziness, visual issues, and imbalance. Your session will include using vestibular infrared goggles, which can help diagnose vestibular concerns by measuring involuntary eye movements (nystagmus). This non-invasive tool will assist your practitioner in determining the cause of dizziness and developing an appropriate treatment plan.

Custom Bracing

Custom braces are specialized orthotic devices custom-made to fit your body's unique shape and size. They can treat various conditions, including sprains and strains, joint instability, osteoarthritis, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Pricing will vary depending on bracing requirements.

Western Acupuncture (Dry Needling)

Dry needling is a technique used to relieve muscle pain and tension. It involves inserting thin, sterile needles into trigger points—tight or knotted areas in muscles—to stimulate healing, improve blood flow, and reduce pain.

*Dry needling is only available for existing clients. If you are a new client, please book an initial assessment before booking a dry needling session.

Athletic Taping

Athletic taping is a technique used to support joints, reduce strain on injured tissues, and enhance stability during activity. It can also help prevent injury or support recovery during rehabilitation.

*The service cost includes HST and covers taping of up to two areas. Please note that it is not eligible for submission through extended health benefits.
